If you are wishing to follow a career in sustainable horticulture and landscaping you’ll need a range of skills including; scientific knowledge of plants, soil, pest and diseases and a wide variety of practical skills such as planting, pruning and hard landscaping, including the use of equipment such as mowers, strimmers, sprayers, tractors and even mini diggers. Our City and Guilds Level 2 course will give you all the in-depth knowledge and practical skills you need to start your career, progress on to the Level 3 Advanced Plant Science and Landscape Design Diploma and then have the option of continuing on to university study with one of our degrees at the iconic Eden Project.
The course is a full-time college course with four days in college plus work experience. Successful completion of this course will give you a City and Guilds Technical Certificate in Horticulture and help you to achieve higher English and maths grades for progression on to higher level courses.
