Want to know more about plants and growing plants, from flowers and shrubs to vegetables? This one day course is an introduction to the principles of horticulture and will take you through the basics of plant propagation and care. It is designed to give you tips for your own gardening as well as prepare you for further study if you want to learn more.

• Light, temperature and humidity requirements
• How to prepare soils/planting medium
• Propagating from seed and cuttings
• Planting out and plant care
