This is a foundation course providing a fantastic opportunity for learners who are interested in progressing on to a level 2 course in Sport, Outdoors or the Military and Protective Services (MAPS). There is a very large practical element to the course including aspects of fitness and team sports, all designed to give them a flavour of the three sectors , and to develop confidence and teamwork. For learners wanting to apply for one of the military or protective services, it will give them the opportunity to prepare for the recruitment process or provide a basis for further study and progression.
