This Level 3 apprenticeship will help you prepare for a more supervisory role within the Equine industry. During the course you will learn how to promote and maintain the health and well-being of horses, prepare horses for specialist work including working horses from the ground, maintain their health and well-being during transportation and contribute to managing health and safety. This apprenticeship has a riding and non-riding option.
Apprenticeships allow you to work while gaining a nationally recognised qualification at the same time, so why not combine your love of horses with earning money.
Set on stunning rolling hillsides, our campus epitomises the very best of land-based education. The recent addition of the £4 million Future Farm research facility means students and businesses are at the heart of the next evolution of environmental farming. Whether it’s a love of horses, sport, protective services, heavy machinery or animal care, nobody forgets their time at Duchy College Stoke Climsland.
