This course is suitable for 13-16 year olds who want to know a little more about maintaining tractors.
This course will cover:
General health and safety practice when working in a workshop and on machines.
Pre- use inspection including but not comprehensive, checking tyres, checking fluid levels, air filters and lights.
Changing fuel filters and how to bleed a fuel system.
Carrying out a full 150 hour service on a tractor following manufacturer’s instructions.
Completion of relevant records to meet health and safety requirements.
On completion you will be awarded with a Duchy College attendance certificate.
