This intensive one-day course will introduce you to wildlife and ecology by exploring the beautiful grounds and farmland within the Duchy College, Stoke Climsland grounds.
In the morning you will look at wildlife conservation and its support, both on a local and a national level. You will undertake a range of wildlife surveys on a variety of habitats found across the college grounds.
You will investigate practical ways in which you can increase wildlife diversity and habitat in your local area.
Delivered by experienced and friendly tutors, you will be inspired to further develop your knowledge and skills within wildlife conservation, whether learning for leisure or wishing to consider a career in the industry.
Please note: this course is for applicants aged 19+ only.
