Course information

Growing your own vegetables can be rewarding and save you money, as well as help mind and body. This is a course designed for those who are considering growing their own vegetables at home or on an allotment. It will cover how to prepare soils, sow seeds, plant out seedlings and garden care and maintenance, including green pest control.

• Sowing seeds - direct in to soil and seed trays
• Planting out seedlings
• Plant care

Progression on to Level 1 Award in Practical Horticulture or level 2 RHS courses
