Construction Multiskills Diploma
NOCN Cskills Awards Level 1 Diploma in Construction Multiskills.
The construction industry is a growing sector in the UK. There are over 3000 construction companies based in Cornwall, alone; employing 30,000 workers. In the last 5 years over £2 billion has been spent on construction projects in Cornwall and Isles of Scilly, with a further £1.3 billion to be invested over the next few years. There will always be a need for skilled workers within this sector.
The Level 1 Diploma in Construction Multiskills is aimed at those with little or no experience in construction. It is your starting point to an interesting and varied career within the construction industry.
Learners will be assessed using a combination of internally set and assessed units, and externally set and assessed units.
The aim of this course is to:
• Help develop the learner’s range of skills and techniques
• Build confidence
• Achieve a nationally recognised qualification
• Progress into employment within the construction sector
• Progress onto related vocational qualifications
In addition to the course, we also give our learners the opportunity to work towards gaining their CSCS Labourer card (Green Card). This is an industry-recognised qualification, which will allow learners to progress into employment, an apprenticeship or onto the next level course to help gain further qualifications.
You will need to supply or purchase your own PPE and contribute towards CSCS test costs.
