The day will give a good experience of working practically on an equine yard.
In the morning, the equine team will introduce you to professional practices. Then you will be developing your skills mucking out and bringing horses in and out of the fields under supervision.
The focus will be on developing industry standard equine skills. You will also spend time grooming the college horses, learning new techniques and developing awareness of body language. Caring for tack and equipment and completing health checks will also be part of the day.
